Evie's path to bodywork was shaped by restrictive religious upbringing. She was born into a strict religious sect that suppressed women's voices and tightly controlled social contact and interaction with others. For most of her early life this background instilled shame around the body and guilt surrounding intimacy unless within the confines of a traditional marriage between a man and woman. Following the death of a parent in her mid teens,  she stepped into a demanding maternal role for her family. As a result, for much of her life she has carried a lot of guilt surrounding intimacy, trauma around death and unease around organised religion. ​

During a challenging life transition, Evie began questioning these oppressive narratives, realising her own need for genuine intimacy. Sensual massage became a vital tool that helped relax both her mind and body while navigating the difficulties she was going through in her personal life. This personal journey led her to volunteer as a receiver for those going through sensual massage training, and eventually to train professionally herself by the award-winning and acclaimed somatic sexologist and intimacy practitioner, Colin Richards. By doing so, Evie is able to share her own path of well-being through the power of therapeutic sensory massage.​

 

Whilst every massage session is focuses entirely on the receiver—the person being massaged—Evie finds immense personal fulfilment in the act of giving. Witnessing the receiver's mind unwind, helping them release deep-seated physical tension and facilitating total body transformation is a rewarding part of her work.
